Este verano, Hanon se enorgullece de presentar el proyecto conjunto con New Balance, titulado The Flying Club, su última release, es una edición especial de una zapatilla running de archivo cuya estructura superior (upper) está completamente customizada.
En la línea de las anteriores colaboraciones con New Balance, Hanon ha buscado de nuevo expandir los límites de aplicación de materiales punteros en algunas de sus zapatillas de running favoritas. En esta ocasión, han conseguido un tejido técnico, pero “old school” a la vez, mediante su proceso de fabricación por la compañía Británica Ventile.
Ventile, es un material densamente entretejido 100% Algodón que soporta todo tipo de climas. Creado originariamente en 1930 y que tuvo su máximo auge durante la Segunda Guerra Mundial, cuando se utilizaba para fabricar los trajes de vuelo debido a su elevada impermeabilidad. A lo largo de los años el Ventile a sido evolucionado hasta el máximo rendimiento y ha seguido siempre relacionado con aplicaciones militares, también ha provisto de protección a famosos exploradores como Sir Ranulph Fiennes durante sus expediciones al Everest y la Antártida.
The Flying Club se remonta hacia las primeras líneas y siluetas de New Balance en sus primeros años. Los chicos de Hanon, se han dejado llevar por la influencia de la estética simplista de los 70’s y 80’s, reintroduciendo algunos de los toques “old school” que ellos creen que deberían reflejar y complementar la herencia de Ventile.
The Flying Club es una edicion especial de la New Balance M670 running. El Pack consta de dos modelos TORNADO y SPITFIRE, cada uno tiene una detallada y customizada con detalles únicos.
Ambos, el tejido Ventile y la zapatilla están hechos en Reino Unido y ensamblados con los más finos materiales en el mundo entero. La edición especial incluye una “N” de una sola pieza, lengüeta al estilo vintage con etiqueta custom y de mesh ribeteado, suela envejecida (midsole) de EVA, cordones “old school” de algodón y forro original de poliuretano.

This summer Hanon and Ventile are proud to present a joint project with New Balance. Entitled The Flying Club, his latest venture is a special release of an archive running shoe complete with customised upper.
Following their previous collaboration with New Balance, they have looked again to expand the boundaries of material applications on some of them favourite running shoes.
This time round they have sourced a superior old school technical fabric by British company Ventile.Ventile is a densely woven, 100% cotton all weather material. It originated in the 1930’s and came to prominence during World War II when it was manufactured especially for flying suits due to its unique waterproofing properties. Throughout the years Ventile has developed into a superior performance fabric and as well as a continued military association it has provided technical outerwear for explorers such as Sir Ranulph Fiennes during expeditions of Mount Everest and the Antarctic.
The Flying Club harks back to the early New Balance silhouettes of yester year. Comprising of two models, each one has a customised upper and features detailing that is unique only to this release. Hanon have drawn influence from the simple aesthetic of the 70’s and 80’s styles and reintroduced some of the old school touches they felt would reflect and compliment the heritage of Ventile.
Both the Ventile fabric and footwear are made in the United Kingdom and assembled with thefinest materials sourced worldwide. Special features include a single piece N, bound and unbagged vintage mesh tongue, aged EVA midsole unit, bespoke tongue label, old school cotton laces and original polyurethane collar lining.
